OVERVIEW

At the heart of this proactive campaign is a simple truth: sometimes, those who Just Did It are the reason we find the courage to do it now. To Those Who Just Did It honours Derek Redmond and Gabriela Andersen-Schiess, two athletes who kept moving when pain, exhaustion and every instinct told them to stop. They did not win their races, yet their determination created moments more enduring than any medal.

Decades later, their stories continue to inspire people far beyond sport. They remind us to begin, to rise after failure, and to keep going when the outcome is uncertain. Sometimes, simply watching someone else refuse to quit is what gives us the courage to act.

That is the connection at the heart of the campaign: those who Just Did It become the reason others do it now. Their stories transform Nike’s famous call from an invitation into living proof that courage can move from one person to another.

Across film, outdoor, digital, social and experiential touchpoints, the campaign brings these moments back to a new generation, not as stories of defeat, but as timeless demonstrations of what Just Do It truly means.

To those who Just Did It, and made the rest of us believe we could too.
